2. What we collect and why
Takeaway orders
When you place an order we ask for your name, phone number and email, your pickup time and, if you wish, a note. We use these details only to prepare your order, email you the confirmation and contact you if there is a problem with it.
Online payments
If you pay online, payment takes place on a Stripe page. Stripe handles your payment details (such as card details) as the payment service provider. SaliBar does not receive or store your card details: we only keep the payment confirmation, the amount and the transaction reference. To create the payment, we send Stripe your email address, the order reference and the order contents.
Event and group enquiries
The events form asks for your name, phone number, email, preferred date, number of guests, type of event and your message. We use these details only to reply to your enquiry.
Technical data
For security, the server records the IP address associated with form submissions and with sign-in attempts to the admin area, in order to limit abuse.
3. How long we keep your data

4. Who we share data with
We do not sell or pass on your data for marketing. Your data is handled by the providers that keep the website running: the website and database hosting service, the online payment service (Stripe) and the email delivery service.

6. Cookies
This website uses a single essential cookie. We do not use advertising cookies or analytics tools.

The website language (Portuguese, Spanish or English) is set by the page address and does not use cookies.
The online payment page belongs to Stripe and uses the cookies needed for payment and fraud prevention, in line with Stripe's privacy policy.
The map on the contact page is a Google Maps service. It only loads if you press “Show map”; from then on, Google's privacy policy applies.
